I am thrilled that on December 2, 2019, my bronze, life-size statue of Sully was unveiled at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library, in College Station Texas. I am so honored to have worked with AMERICA’S VETDOGS and the GEORGE and BARBARA BUSH FOUNDATION, to bring a life-size BRONZE of the President’s great service dog “SULLY” to the GEORGE H. W. BUSH LIBRARY/MUSEUM’S permanent collection!
I fell in love with Sully and wanted to capture the beautiful loyalty and bond that our beloved president inspired in him. Having created monuments worldwide to our service animals and their handlers for 25 years, I feel Sully helps honor the President’s legacy, wonderful groups like America’s VetDogs, and raises awareness of all types of service animals, as I’m also doing through the NATIONAL SERVICE ANIMALS MONUMENT and the PURPLE POPPY® movement.
